The rules for using this website
Last updated October 6, 2026.
What are you agreeing to?
By using this website or its quote form, you agree that the information you send about your car is accurate, that you have the right to sell it, and that any figure is confirmed by phone with Top Dollar Junk Cars before a pickup. Payment is made when the car is picked up.
Quotes and offers
Sending the form doesn't sell your car and doesn't commit you to anything. It asks us to call. The figure we give on that call is based on what you tell us about the car, so please describe it as it is: whether it runs, what's missing, any flood or fire damage, and which papers you hold. A sale happens only when you accept the figure and the car is collected.
What you confirm as the seller
You confirm that the car is yours to sell, or that you're acting for the owner with their permission, and that the papers you hand over are genuine. Where a car sits on property you don't control, such as a repair shop or an apartment lot, arranging access is up to you. Plates, personal belongings and toll transponders should be removed before the tow.
Information on this site
Our guides explain how junk car sales generally work and summarize state and village rules with links to the sources. They aren't legal advice, and rules change; check the linked official pages for anything that matters to your sale. We try to keep every page accurate but can't promise it's free of errors.
Links to other sites
Links to government pages, village codes and Google are there for your convenience. We don't run those sites and aren't responsible for what's on them.
Questions
Ask us anything about these terms through our contact page. How we look after the details you send is in the privacy policy, and you can start a quote from the quote page whenever you're ready.
