How we handle your details

What does this site collect?

Through the quote form, Top Dollar Junk Cars collects the car's year, make, model and title status, plus your name, phone number and pickup address. We use them to price your car and arrange the pickup, and we don't sell them. This site also uses Google analytics tags to count visits.

The quote form and phone calls

When you press the form's final button, your answers travel to the system that routes quote requests to our team, and someone calls you back. If you phone us instead, we note the same details by hand. We use them for three jobs only: working out a figure, booking the tow and dealing with anything that comes up about that sale.

We don't sell your details or pass them to other buyers. The people who see them are the staff handling your car and the service providers that run our forms and phone line on our behalf.

Analytics and cookies

The site loads Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics a few seconds after a page opens, or when you first scroll, tap or type. They set cookies and report which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are and whether a quote form was sent. We use those numbers to see which pages help people and which don't. Google's own policies govern what it does with that data, and your browser settings let you block or clear cookies at any time.

How long we keep details, and deleting them

We keep form and call details for as long as we need them to deal with your request and to keep ordinary records of the cars we've bought. Want yours deleted, or want to know what we hold? Call (773) 337-7836 between 6am and 9pm, or use our contact page, and tell us the name and number you used.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to government sites, village codes and our Google listing. Those sites have their own privacy rules, which this policy doesn't cover.

Changes to this policy

If the way we handle details changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves. Using the site or the quote form means you accept the policy as it stands, alongside our terms of use.
