What the call back covers

1. We call you. Someone goes over the details with you and gives you a figure for that car.
2. You ask what you like. How we got to the number, what we'd need from you on the day, how you want to be paid.
3. You decide. Say yes and we book a pickup time; same-day pickup is often possible. Say no and that's the end of it.
4. The truck comes, and you're paid. Cash, or Zelle and Cash App if you'd rather, handed over as the car is loaded. The tow costs nothing.

Getting a figure that fits your car

A quote is only as good as the details behind it. Take the model year from the registration rather than memory, mention anything missing (the catalytic converter, a wheel, the battery), and say if the car has been in a flood or a fire. Our guide to what decides a junk car's worth explains why each of those matters.

No title?

Pick "No" or "I have registration only" in the form and carry on. For an Illinois car, we'll ask which papers you hold and confirm on the call whether they work for a scrap sale. For an Indiana car, the sale needs the title or a BMV certificate of authority. The details for both states are on selling without the title.

What happens to your details

We use your name, number and address to call you about this car and, if you go ahead, to send the truck. Nothing more. The privacy policy sets out who sees the form and how to have it deleted, and the terms of use cover the quote itself. Questions about either go through our contact page.
